A picture of the Pudong skyline by night. This image is from my latest vacation to China. I love how the colors light up the water in front.

Spring-Food
I have been experimenting with a lot of food photography lately. This is a shot of the my latest spring-menu (plaice with coarse remoulade and a light salad) to use on my food-blog http://grillkokkerier.dk (in Danish)
Mister Sun-hat
Another photo from Roskilde Festival 2010. This one shows some of the people waiting for the band coming on Orange stage. You will be amazed how many people that dress up in funny costumes during this festival. This guy has a sun-had shaped like…the sun…
Little Rocker
Roskilde Festival is one of the biggest music festivals in Europe. The nice thing about this festival is that it has room for all kinds of people: punkers, emos, elderly, children, rockers, indies etc.
This little fellow was really rocking out to one of the concerts this year. Not even old enough to walk on his own but already loving the music (this was actually a Motorhead concert). His mother was clever enough to guard his ears with these huge “earguards”.
Mountain in Layers
A photo from my USA trip. When coming from a flat country like Denmark, it is quite amazing to see mountains like this. To me they almost look like sculptures with all the colorful layers.
Grand Canyon II
Another photo from Grand Canyon. It is hard to imagine the size of this “hole”. At this point there is almost 20km across.
Old-style Texaco
Found this old-school looking Texaco gas station near the Hole N’ a Rock place in USA.
Enter The Valley of Death
Even though I could barely take the extreme temperatures in Death Valley, USA, I just had to leave my air-con’ed car over and over again to take pictures. The raw and extreme environment was simply stunning in its own dramatic way.
Caves of Bryce Canyon
My favorite National Park in USA was without doubt Bryce Canyon. The extraordinary way the mountains are shapes, the beautiful read color and the compact nature of this place was simply fantastic.
This photo was taken in one of the cave-like places at the bottom of the Canyon. The light down there has a very red taint due to the colors of the cliffs that reflected the light.
Yosemite National Park – Sundown from Glacier Point
Yosemite National Park was probably the one of the Nationals that I favored the least. It is probably due to the fact that it is very similar to the nature I know from Sweden and Norway. We did however spend the evening on Glacier Point with brilliant talks by the Park Rangers and a beautiful sundown.
This photo is a combined panorama that shows the sundown as seen from Glacier Point.
San Francisco in Fog
This is a photo I took from the shore you get to if you cross the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The day i went there, a fog was covering most of the city. I think it gave it all a quite dramatic look. I played around with the photo a bit and decided on a Black&White version for the blog. I also did make a cross-posting version that looked like this:
Which one do you prefer?
Mesa Verde – Cliff Castle
One of the places that impressed me the most during my roadtrip in USA was Indian villages in the Mesa Verde National Park.
This photo shows the indian village called Cliff Castle. It was entirely hidden under a hanging cliff and used to house around 120 people back in year 1200.
Grand Canyon Panorama
My latest trip was to the USA where I spent a lot of time in the National Parks. This picture is a combined (quick) Panorama I made at the Crand Canyon South rim. The sun gave a quite hard light which is why some of it is a bith too light in the color (something I will fix when I have some more time
The squirrel
This little fellow didn’t seem to get bothered by me shooting some pictures of it.
Love on the Beach
You find love everywhere….this time I found it at the beach along Highway 1 between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Very cute couple if you ask me.
Pork on the Q
Even though we had 1meter of snow in the garden, I still wanted to get some Pulled Pork (and a bit of training for the Memphis In May World BBQ Championship). The smell of the smoke and pork in the freezing cold weather was amazing.
Iced landscape
The winter was hard this year. At my in-laws house (nearby the sea) the water was completely iced over. It looked so deserted and cold.
Danish Design
Got a new lens (the Canon 24-70mm F2.8 L) and played around a bit. This closeup of one of the old Danish-Design Lamp classics turned out pretty cool.
Sweden III
More of the fantastic nature from our trip to Sweden. Love the way the sun colors the snow.
Sundown
A fantastic red sundown over the Forrest in Sweden.
Sweden I
More of the view from the Swedish mountains where we went skiing this winter.
Colorful and Hot
Went to a chili-tasting festival today. 120 different chili-sorts to taste…going from mild to extremely hot. I love chili and went all the way (even without drinking milk).
I simply love the colors and shapes of these chilies.

Attacks of the Killer-ladybugs
Went to the beach today with some friends. It was crazy….ladybugs all over the place and they were biting like hell.
Portrait II
The wife wanted a portrait with the wine fields in the back. The image is from an area in Italy, close to the Austrian border.
Seeds of Life
The crops are almost ready in Austria. I took this closeup as I love the way these plants move in the wind
Reflections I
This is from a mountain lake in Austria where the wife and I just went as part of our vacation. The evening was so clear and quiet and the reflections in the lake were beautiful.
Water music
Just a statue near the lake where we camped in Austria.
Wife in the wild
Got my wife to pose for me in the crop field. It gives the photo an all natural look.
Venice
I love Venice and the canals. I played around with Black&white in this picture, in order to give it a more oldish kind of look.
Cheap Stones
Went to the marked today. For some reason a lot of the people in this area tried to sell these necklaces with colorful stones on. I did not like the necklaces, but loooved the way all the colors decorated the tables.
